REGENCY COVE

It is an active 55+ waterfront gated community on Old Tampa Bay. It covers 45 acres, with 410 homes and 16 apartments. The common areas include a spacious club house, heated pool, spa, shuffleboard courts, boat docks and trailer storage area, and a picnic area. There are many activities to keep you busy: billiards, bingo, an exercise room and classes, line dancing classes, golf and bowling leagues, fishing and planned social events.

The quiet safe streets are dotted with palms and the eye is easily drawn to our well maintained homes along the boulevards. The common areas include a grand Club house with rooms that house our exercise equipment, billiard tables, library and it also boasts a full sized commercial kitchen. The luxurious amenities include a heated pool with soothing poolside music and ample furniture for sunbathing in the warm Florida sunshine, a bubbling hot spa, premium shuffleboard courts, newly installed horseshoe pits, boat docks with trailer storage area, kayak and canoe launch and a picnic area.

Regency Cove Yacht Club

Just when you thought you couldn’t have any more fun, the Regency Cove Yacht Club was formed in 1993 by charter members who donated a small sum of money to establish the club which flourishes today under the motto “Just Have Fun!” The Regency Cove Yacht Club is active for 8 months with various functions including a Commodores Ball, Sockhop, luncheons and trips. You won’t want to miss out on any event that just wants you to have fun.

Activities

Regency Cove also has a Golf Association and a Bowling League. Both were started in the 1970’s. The golfers meet every Monday and usually rotate between different courses. They also sponsor a Pancake Breakfast, cookout and annual banquet awards dinner. The bowlers meet every Friday morning at Pinarama Lanes for 3 games of fun and the occasional tournament. Regency Cove also has weekly planned events consisting of at least 5 different card games, book discussions, bible study, choir practice, aerobic and stretching exercise classes, dance lessons, support groups and BINGO.

Enjoy the beautiful Florida evenings as you walk the well lit streets to Sunset Point, to relax with neighbors on the benches and swings. Many homeowners are able to enjoy sunsets right from their front doors on waterfront homes that line Old Tampa Bay.
